The Challenge

As part of its continued growth, DR&P Group decided to relocate to a larger, more modern office that would provide an improved working environment for its employees. The project presented a significant logistical challenge. Within just three weeks, the entire relocation had to be planned, coordinated and delivered, with the physical move taking place over three to four days.

  • More than 50 employees required new workstations to be installed and configured within a three-week project timeline.

  • The deployment of three fully equipped meeting rooms complete with wall-mounted displays and video conferencing technology.

  • Ensure every employee could begin working immediately in the new office.

  • Minimise disruption to business operations throughout the move.

The Solution

Working closely with DR&P throughout the planning phase, MCS Group developed a structured project plan to ensure every aspect of the relocation was delivered efficiently. Over the course of the move, multiple engineers were onsite to oversee the installation, configuration and testing of the new IT environment. Every workstation was installed and prepared ready for users, while meeting rooms were equipped with wall-mounted displays and conferencing cameras to support collaboration from the moment the office opened.

  • Complete network infrastructure, including business broadband, Wi-Fi deployment and a SonicWall firewall to provide secure connectivity throughout the new premises. 

  • All network cabling was correctly patched and tested, equipment was fully configured before staff arrived, and engineers remained onsite to resolve any teething issues immediately.

  • Multiple engineers onsite throughout the move to support users and resolve any issues immediately.

  • Assisted employees in settling into their new workspaces, ensuring every device was operational and ready for use.
