Project Coordinator

The role

As Project Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the successful planning, organisation and delivery of client projects. Working closely with the engineers, you will help ensure projects are well structured, clearly communicated and delivered to a high standard.

Typical projects may include Microsoft 365 migrations, server upgrades, cyber security improvements, cloud deployments, network refreshes, telephony solutions and onboarding of new clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering resources in line with project priorities, ensuring time is scheduled effectively and project deadlines are met. 
  • Ensure all stakeholders, internal and client-side, are informed, aligned and supported. 
  • Help resolve issues or delays quickly and proactively escalate when necessary. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Schedule meetings, provide regular updates, and manage expectations professionally. 
  • Ensure positive and organised experience for the client during every stage.
  • Create and maintain clear project plans, schedules, and task lists.
  • Document scope changes, issues, and decisions during delivery.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to improving project processes. 
  • Work towards or maintain recognised project management qualifications (e.g. Prince2 Foundation).

Experience and skills needed

  • Previous experienced coordinating projects, schedules or resources is desirable. 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Confident managing deadlines and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, structured and calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with MSP or IT project delivery is desirable.
